8/5/2022 I took the NCMHCE in July 2022 and PASSED on my first try using counselingexam.com! The simulations that are provided are exactly like the real exam and the site provides more than enough information to be able to pass on the first try. I would recommend focusing on sets/simulations/practice exams. Counselingexam.com came recommended by professors & peers at my graduate school, as well as friends who used the site and also passed on the first try. I definitely made the right decision by using this program and will continue recommending it to others in the future. Extremely appreciative for being able to access the content here!

8/3/2022 I passed my exam on the first attempt! I have this site and Barton Bott's webinars to thank! The NCMHCE is overwhelming, as the format is completely different from any other exam. This site helped give me relief on understanding the format, first and foremost. At first glance, the amount of study material is terrifying, but just take your time and give everything a good lookover. This site will provide you the structure to help pace you in your studying. You don't need to go over every available recording/powerpoint. You will quickly learn what you need to focus your efforts on. The best part of studying for this exam on counselingexam.com is that I learned so much valuable information that will help me in the real world as a counselor. Rather than just regurgitating facts as on the NCE, the NCMHCE helps you develop the skills you may have missed out on in grad school or even your internship. Dr. Linton, Bart, and Stacey truly care about helping you learn the information, as well as how to apply it in practice. There are so many recordings that they have made available. The extent of these recordings shows that they are not just trying to sell a product, but they genuinely care about producing counselors who are clinically ready to help clients. Don't let the price scare you away! The NCMHCE is a HARD test and the price you pay for access to this program is worth every penny. 8/2/2022 I used another study book, but did not feel as prepared with about 1 month to go until my exam on 8/2/22. I dove right into the simulations and found the test format to be uniquely challenging after previous experiences with multiple choice questions (with one right answer on most questions). I also took 2 full length exams one week and two weeks prior to the exam today to get mentally prepared for testing. I had struggled with the IG sections specifically because my years of clinical experience (required parts of every biopsychosocial assessment I have conducted) did not neatly translate into the "right" answers for these sections for the purpose of formulating the provisional diagnosis, but I took the test today and received a 90% on the IG sections and scored well enough on the DM sections to pass the entire exam on the first try. All of my colleagues recommended this site and I was reluctant to follow their advice due to the cost of the subscription, but I can assure you that it was well worth the price to not have to worry about retaking the NCMHCE.

7/29/2022 I took my test for the second time on 07/21/2022 and passed. Using this service helped a lot. I think the full length practice simulations are the key. Also the support you all give and guarantee to continue to assist if a person doesn't pass is awesome. What I learned by using this program was that knowing how to take the exam is the most important and being comfortable with it as well.

7/28/2022 NOW I READY TO GO TO HAWAII !!!!!!!!! BECAUSE, THANKS TO GOD AND THANKS TO YOUR PROGRAM, PASSED MY EXAM IN MY FIRST TRY ON jULY 25!!! I CAN'T TELL YOU WHAT HAPPY I AM. ENGLISH IS MY SECOND LANGUAGE BUT IT DID NOT MATTER WITH YOUR PROGAM. I DID STUDIED REALLY HARD EVERY DAY OVER THE 3 MONTHS AND HERE IS THE RESULT!!! PASS!!!. 7/26/2022 I passed the NCMHCE on the first try yesterday! My coworker recommended this program to me, as she also passed it on the first try after using this plan as well. I was thoroughly impressed with how similar the format is to the actual exam and felt the program left me even more prepared than I actually needed to be! I studied using only this program, focusing nearly entirely on simulations and practice exams. I did find the videos and assessment flash cards helpful also. The sim map was great to stay focused. Good luck to all who take the exam, but you won’t need luck if you are using this program- it’s amazing!

7/26/2022 I passed! I took the exam 7/25/2022 and was terrified. This website is what I 1000% believe helped me pass. The answers to why my questions were wrong (which was because I was answering how I would clinically do things instead of how the state wanted me to answer) was extremely helpful. The exam is set up exactly as the simulations, and I was not intimidated by the format because of this website. Now I can take a breath, and get my LMHC license in the mail.
