5/14/2025 I researched a few different exam prep companies and I am SO glad I went with this one! I still can't believe that I PASSED!!! I used this subscription for two months and mainly practiced the narratives which was really helpful. I highly suggest this resource, if you stick with it, you won't regret it! In addition to the helpful narrative practice, this website has some amazing resources and they cover any and all topics regarding mental health. Just do it already and trust the reviews..I'm glad I did!!! Thank you counselingexam.com, I am over the moon since passing this morning!!

5/1/2025 I PASSED with an 80 on my 1st attempt!!! Because of your site and all the study tips, explanations and practice exams/narratives I felt prepared and wayyyy less nervous than I expected! I recommend listening to the audio, take notes if needed, do as many narratives and practice exams as you can (don't forget to do it timed). It wasn't an easy test, but all really was "in there"! 4/23/2025 I completed my master over 20 years ago in school counseling. When I started the prep work for the exam, it felt like an impossible task. The site structure, visual aid, DSMV courses, diagnostic trees narratives and full exams were so helpful!! The guidance I received from this program had a part on the final outcome. 4/23/2025 I just passed the NCMHCE first try, thanks very much to counseling exam.com!!! The test was very close to the practice narratives. I did all of the practice narratives, including the full length exams, which I found to be extremely helpful in getting me prepared for the timing of the real test. I scored 75 with a cut score of 62, which was spot on for my average score on the full length practice exams of around 74. For those who have a test coming up, good luck and keep taking those practice narratives!!! It really is in there

4/16/2025 This website works! I passed my exam and this website helped me so much. You have to do the practice narratives, quizzes, and read the diagnostic trees. I also listened to most of the podcast. Thank you so much. This was my 4th time, but its too much to explain. I should have past on my 3rd try, but I highly recommend going to a testing center. I failed because they terminated my exam online due to the internet not working on their end!!! The first time I failed I was not prepared due to a lot of personal issues and I took the old version of the exam, second time I failed I did not know what to expect because I took the new version and it was harder than I thought and the reflection of meaning, content, and feelings had me in a chokehold, and I had a lot of questions in that context with summarizations. But if you understand that and how all the theories work you will do great. Remember to study ethics, treatment planning... you need to know everything for the exam. There will be a little of everything on it.

4/15/2025 I did not think I would pass at all. I was super nervous, and the best way for me to study was to practice for tests. In addition to the practice tests, they have single narratives which can feel easier to digest. The diagnostic trees and the techniques trees were invaluable in my studying! I am very happy to report that I passed my test, and it is evidence of how much this site works!
