5/1/2025 I PASSED with an 80 on my 1st attempt!!! Because of your site and all the study tips, explanations and practice exams/narratives I felt prepared and wayyyy less nervous than I expected! I recommend listening to the audio, take notes if needed, do as many narratives and practice exams as you can (don't forget to do it timed). It wasn't an easy test, but all really was "in there"! Thanks Stacy, Linton, and the team!

4/23/2025 I completed my master over 20 years ago in school counseling. When I started the prep work for the exam, it felt like an impossible task. The site structure, visual aid, DSMV courses, diagnostic trees narratives and full exams were so helpful!! The guidance I received from this program had a part on the final outcome. 4/23/2025 I just passed the NCMHCE first try, thanks very much to counseling exam.com!!! The test was very close to the practice narratives. I did all of the practice narratives, including the full length exams, which I found to be extremely helpful in getting me prepared for the timing of the real test. I scored 75 with a cut score of 62, which was spot on for my average score on the full length practice exams of around 74. For those who have a test coming up, good luck and keep taking those practice narratives!!! It really is in there

4/16/2025 This website works! I passed my exam and this website helped me so much. You have to do the practice narratives, quizzes, and read the diagnostic trees. I also listened to most of the podcast. Thank you so much. This was my 4th time, but its too much to explain. I should have past on my 3rd try, but I highly recommend going to a testing center. I failed because they terminated my exam online due to the internet not working on their end!!! The first time I failed I was not prepared due to a lot of personal issues and I took the old version of the exam, second time I failed I did not know what to expect because I took the new version and it was harder than I thought and the reflection of meaning, content, and feelings had me in a chokehold, and I had a lot of questions in that context with summarizations. But if you understand that and how all the theories work you will do great. Remember to study ethics, treatment planning... you need to know everything for the exam. There will be a little of everything on it.

4/15/2025 I did not think I would pass at all. I was super nervous, and the best way for me to study was to practice for tests. In addition to the practice tests, they have single narratives which can feel easier to digest. The diagnostic trees and the techniques trees were invaluable in my studying! I am very happy to report that I passed my test, and it is evidence of how much this site works!

6/6/2025 I passed my exam today on the first attempt. I could not have done this without the help of counselingexam.com. I tried using a leading competitor, and while their information was as useful as this platform, counselingexam.com has much more personality and methods of absorbing this information. I eventually unsubscribed from the competitor and only used this website to study. I will absolutely be recommending this website. I mostly used the narratives, podcasts, and full-length exams. The games were helpful for my weak areas. The diagnostic trees were also a helpful visual. I completed and passed all four practice exams before setting the date for my exam. I studied for the last four months. Linton, Stacey, and Eric were my best friends for the last few months. In fact, I will keep up with the podcast as it is helpful information to know, anyway. My gratitude is overflowing. I found that the exams here are practically identical in nature to the actual exam. My average score for my practice tests was 73 and I scored 72 on the NCMHCE, where 65 was the cutoff. Thank you endlessly, counselingexam.com team!! You make the biggest difference! P.S. - If you listen to the podcast, you will crave sushi more than you ever have in your life. I am off to go get some veggie rolls to celebrate my victory :)
