1/22/2025 Thanks to Linton and Stacy, I got a firm grasp on this test. I felt doomed by all the posts I read with "I failed 3x times even though I have a PHD." It's a stupid, hard test designed to weed people out. I passed the first time...and I only have an MA! It's only because I studied on counselingexam.com for 3 months; heading over to Publix later to celebrate. CHEERS!

3/5/2025 I passed the NCMHCVE today on my 2nd attempt. I have a PhD and 35 years of counseling experience but this did not help pass the NCMHE exam. The exam is not about clinical experoemce and common sense. You can be a great therapist and fail the exam miserably. The exam is about trick, technical details that are not important in real clinical work. I used this prep course and Mometrix and found them both to be extremely helpful. This course has better narratives and practice exams but both are extremely helpful. The test is not easy. You have to read the questions very carefully because sometimes the questions are not about the case but about counseling in general. Don't feel bad if you don't pass on yhour first try. The NCMHCE is not about counseling in the real world. It's about what some ivory tower cpimselingprofessors think is important. Good luck on your exam. I am already fully licensed in Texas and now I will be licensed in Florida. Don't take the test until you can pass practice exams. Don from Dallas.

1/16/2025 I am writing today to let all the students know that I passed my exam today! 01/16/2025 Thank God, this was my 5th time taking this exam, yes 5th time! If you are studying for the NCMHCE exam and you have failed on your first time or 5th time taking the exam, do not give up. I actually took this exam 4 times on my 5th attempt I passed today. My previous attempts were failures and I felt embarrassed, scared, hopeless and even doubted myself at one point in my preparation for this exam. I had heard from other people that this was an easy exam and it is not please believe me. I took this course the counselingexam.com course 3 times and I took the Mometrix online course twice a and finally I studied the Pocket prep online course for the NCMHCE exam. Pocket prep broke down each section of the NCMHCE exam and it has a mock exam. All Three of these online programs together helped me tremendously. I feel I learned something from all 3 of these online programs. Make sure however that you give yourself at least 2-3 weeks of uninterrupted study time to prepare for this exam. Please believe me, this exam is not easy and it will take your entire focus to pass this exam. But today I passed and now you know that if you fail on your first try you can still come back in 30 days with a good approach and PASS this exam. I believe in you and now you can believe in yourself too.

1/14/2025 This program is amazing. I took my exam on 1/11 and passed with flying colors. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone prepping for the NCMHCE exam. Thank you for helping me pass this exam.
