4/13/2025 I passed my exam today on the first attempt. I could not have done this without the help of counselingexam.com. I tried using a leading competitor, and while their information was as useful as this platform, counselingexam.com has much more personality and methods of absorbing this information. I eventually unsubscribed from the competitor and only used this website to study. I will absolutely be recommending this website. I mostly used the narratives, podcasts, and full-length exams. The games were helpful for my weak areas. The diagnostic trees were also a helpful visual. I completed and passed all four practice exams before setting the date for my exam. I studied for the last four months. Linton, Stacey, and Eric were my best friends for the last few months. In fact, I will keep up with the podcast as it is helpful information to know, anyway. My gratitude is overflowing. I found that the exams here are practically identical in nature to the actual exam. My average score for my practice tests was 73 and I scored 72 on the NCMHCE, where 65 was the cutoff. Thank you endlessly, counselingexam.com team!! You make the biggest difference! P.S. - If you listen to the podcast, you will crave sushi more than you ever have in your life. I am off to go get some veggie rolls to celebrate my victory :)

The practice exams and study tips were a huge help in building my confidence, and the podcasts were invaluable and convenient for studying while on the go. Like you say, it really is in there! Prep anxiety had me reeling, but 2½ months of daily study paid off. I averaged 75% on narrative practice and 71% on CounselingExam.com tests—worth every cent. 3/27/2025 I passed my exam 3/24/25!!! I could not have passed without this website. I appreciate all the narratives and content, it may look overwhelming but follow their study plan and you will be set! It is a bit pricey but absolutely worth it! I would 100% recommend to help prepare for the NCMHCE. I also appreciated the “extra questions” sections. Thank you for creating a study platform that is so helpful!
