7/22/2022 I have paid for several subscriptions since February 2022. This site is extremely helpful and has helped me break down a variety of clients situation by his/her symptoms experienced and observed, duration of symptoms, onset of symptoms, etc. I enjoyed the videos and the simulations the most which was very similar to the actual exam. I scheduled to take the exam on 7/14 and I passed! I’ve heard from so many people that has taken the exam that it was hard and they took it several times and didn’t pass and they too subscribed to counselingexam.com. I believe that if a person work hard and study, they will be able to pass the exam the first time. I’m not going to say that the exam is hard per say, but the exam test your knowledge and skills. As a resident, conducting assessments, working as an intensive in home counselor, and conducting outpatient therapy has been an added benefit.

7/21/2022 I just want to say thank you for the wonderful material that you provide. I took the NCMHCE today and passed it on the first try. My anxiety was intense, but I used relaxation techniques to help me through. The sim mapping was an amazing tool to help me navigate the simulations. Thank you, thank you! 7/18/2022 LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! I passed the first try!! Bar none, these folks are THE best and worth triple than what I paid. I actually miss being able to come onto this site now that I have completed my NMHCE. Test anxiety? You betcha I had that. I have been out of school for over a decade and had much to learn. They guarantee their services and if you truly follow their program, and do your best to adhere to it, you will be well-prepared and ready to pass. Bart, Linton, Stacy and the rest help you to have fun and enjoy the study process. I learned so much using this site. The support is phenomenal and the simulations are spot on!

7/18/2022 Hi Team, Just want you to know I passed my NCMHCE exam with enough wiggle room to spare! Now I really know what "it's in there" means! All the information and more is really on this website! The website was a life saver in terms of having all the information I needed to succeed in the exam. It also is a great learning site and I may even go on later just to brush up on some information. I found the simulations invaluable, the mini-courses so helpful and actually, the exams were the thing that really got me prepared to take the exam. I loved that you had both the practice mode and also the exam mode. As an older adult student the former helped me understand the patterns of my mistakes while the latter helped me get my timing down. This site is invaluable and I couldn't have passed without it. Thank you all so very much. I'm glad too I did the webinar you offered about the 2 exam formats. That was so helpful and am so relieved I passed the old format. Whew! During the times where I felt dispirited about my study progress, just hearing Dr. Hutchinson's voice and the teams' voices on the videos was heartening. I came to feel like I had a team of folks supporting me all along the way and rooting for me. It was really helpful to know we had to develop an exam mindset vs. just draw on our prior clinical knowledge. This really helped to offset discouragement, especially in the beginning when I was first doing simulations. Thanks again and I will and already am recommending your site and all your materials. 7/14/2022 I have been trying to pass this exam since before the pandemic. I studied, I got a test coach, I used this exam, I bought the books, I read the DSM, nothing prepared me for the exam more than the counselingexam.com from Linton Hutchinson did....this study guide has been by far the best information and guide ever. Thank you Linton and everyone with the videos, the assistance. When I did not pass I was given more time, that I was so grateful for. Thank you thank you!!!I passed on 7/9/22

7/12/2022 I completed and passed my exam this morning!!! This program was all I used to study and prepare and I am beyond grateful! The exam was exactly as described while practicing so I feel comfortable at the actual exam, being familiar with it. I did the 60-day program and was guided through the sections, I loved that I was able to see my progress each week. I kept practicing the stimulations until i "pass" both sections then I felt, and was obviously ready. I was was recommended this site and I am now pushing you, the next licensed counselor, to use it as well because you will not regret it.

7/12/2022 Only used this site to study and was able to pass successfully on my first attempt. My scores were significantly above the passing scores. I credit this site with preparing me with information and creating sims/exams to practice with. I would recommend daily meditation (10-15 minutes) before any study session to further help focus and mental/emotional state for studying and before the real exam. I primarily used the sims and practice exams, then branched out from there into areas of struggle. That practice helped me focus on what I needed. The diagnostic trees were hugely helpful in defining the smaller differences between syndromes. Great study tool!

7/24/2022 Passed on the first go! This site was a big help combined with another resource I found. I made the mistake of signing up for trainings and other things when I should have been concentrating on studying for the NCMHCE. The simulations and their feedback were a big a help in identifying which areas I needed to focus my studies. A bit expensive for the package I got but I will say it was worth it.
