I used it to study for about a month, and it paid off immensely! The SIM Mapping tool was a real life-saver for navigating the questions on the exam! Thanks again!

6/21/2019 Passed my exam this morning on the first try, thanks to your help! Overall, I would definitely recommend your site to others. Pros: The downloadable study guide was helpful, especially the sections with thoughts on suitable treatment modalities for various diagnoses. The DSM review videos and flipcards were great. The best is the large number of simulations and practice exams which were critical to getting prepared for the real exam--if you can pass the practice exams, you will do fine on the NCMHCE. Cons: the site is very expensive....

6/15/2019 I took the NCMHCE last month and passed with flying colors the first time! So thankful that I don’t have to take it again. The simulations really helped and they were very similar to the exam ones. I mostly just studied the simulations section and they were so helpful! It’s nice to see your scoring as you go and learn that way. Counseling Exam also has ways to relax if you’re getting nervous, which is really cool. Overall, I was so pleased with this studying resource. I also once reached out to their customer service and they were very sweet and helpful in their response! I had such a great experience with this website and have shared it with all my friends that are also taking the exam. Thank you so much, Counseling Exam!

6/14/2019 A very complete prep. I signed for a month subscription and added two extra days the same week I presented the exam. Practice practice practice on trail error makes the master. Being a non native speaker and getting acquainted with the vocabulary and problem formulation was of great aid. This was my second attempt. First attempt was impacted by the difficulties related to specifics of the test construction and the anxiety of not focusing on specific of the questions.

6/13/2019 I've been a licensed counselor in Virginia for over 20 years, but with my upcoming move to California pending I found myself having to hit the "books" again to study for the NCMHCE: Well, fortunately not too many "books" besides the DSM-5. Your online course was an invaluable resource that helped me thoroughly prepare for this exam, and I passed on the first try. I was not looking forward to more long hours of study, but I must say that the diverse means by which you present content kept me interested: From countless simulations, to quizzes, to helpful tips on HOW to take the exam, and what to look (and look out) for, in addition to your daily e-mail tips, all contributed to building the knowledge and confidence base I needed in order to make this a successful venture the FIRST time through. 6/7/2019 Dear Bart, and Staff Members: This is a bitter-sweet goodbye. Yesterday, I sat for the NCMHCE, and effortlessly PASSED!!!!! I had tried the Association for Advanced Training in the Behavioral Sciences:Preparatory Course for the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination, and found the resources to be limiting when addressing the "Decision Making" segment of the test.
