9/22/2017 06-2017 Thank you!!!!!! I took the NCMHCE for my LPCC license this week and I passed. I purchased the study package with you. I found it very thorough; the different sections of this package increased my confidence level because I knew what to expect of the exam and it's content and it served me as a great review. My confidence took a higher leap when after going through most of the sections I took a practice exam; I passed with a great score. I took a picture of the results to look at it whenever I lost confidence, became nervous and just before the exam. I highly will continue to recommend your site. Thank you very much

I took my exam today and passed with flying colors. I studied all of your material, but most helpful were the simulations and practice tests. I learned so much from them....I learned the format and developed test-taking skills. I was also able to pinpoint areas that needed additional study. 9/4/2024 "Here is the deal: This is not a test over what you learned in grad school or how good of a counselor you'll be. This is a test of how to take a test. If you don't know how to take this test, you will fail because it is NOT like any test you've ever taken. This website teaches you exactly how to take this test and it is uncannily accurate! I signed up for the three-month subscription and passed the first time I took the NCMHCE. One word of advice: If you're not able to "Pass" the 3-hour online simulation tests through this website, don't take the exam yet. Once you can pass those, you'll pass the "real" exam. Thanks to this website for ensuring I passed!"

7/12/2017 Hi there, I'm writing to tell you that on June 22 I took both the NCMHCE and NCE exams in one day. AND I PASSED THEM BOTH! I TOTALLY ROCKED IT! 12/16/2016 I wanted you to know that I took my NCMHCE test for the 2nd time today. The first time, I had missed passing it by one measly point. Now, I had never failed a test before-and have certainly taken my share of them! Although I was encouraged by how close I came to passing it; I also realized I had, in many ways, met my match as far as test taking goes. I emailed you after that and you provided me with some very helpful tips and, quite generously, extended my subscription for an additional 90 days!! This time, I passed it just fine! There are many over the top helps that your on line study program provides. Some I found most helpful are the helpful tips ( I can’t remember exactly what you called them, but they were on the lower left hand link and there were 129 of them.) I reviewed those on a regular basis. The motivational videos were extraordinarily helpful during times I honestly thought I couldn’t gag my way through any more studying. It seems that every time I logged on to the website, I found additional information; an additional link or tutorial. I really appreciate that you recognize adult learning strategies and offer the information in a variety of modalities. Of course the simulations were the most helpful for me. As you know, knowing the material isn’t enough to get through this particular test. You have to prepare yourself for the test design. Having it available on line 24/7 accessibility is a real bonus. Thanks for all the encouragement, comprehensive study and test tips and all around extraordinarily effective online study program. The day before the test, I listened to Dr. Howard Rosenthal’s CD that he prepared for test taking anxiety and incorporated some of his work with your “It’s In there” Philosophy. (By the way, I used his audio materials and Encyclopedia of Counseling as a foundation to begin this test preparation. He is the one who referred me to you.) I rewrote a mental preparation relaxation for myself-had my husband read it to me the night before the test and read it to myself a few times on the way to the test site. During the breaks I took during the test (thanks to your advise that we do that) I would revisit your “It’s in there” philosophy. I found it so powerfully motivating that you acknowledged us and the work we were doing in this field already-before we have the initials behind our name. And now it’s my turn to reciprocate the acknowledgement: Thanks for all you do…I’m truly grateful. I honestly don’t think I would have passed this test without you.

8/16/2017 I know I enjoyed reading about your background, when you were out fishing in Florida, unaware of the need to apply for your clinical counseling license without the hardship of the testing process. Your story put reality to your photo that I would see whenever I would sign in to the Litton Hutchinson exam prep site. A real person with a similar struggle that your students were experiencing. Not just a logo! Perhaps others could be encouraged to hear that a 63 year old grandma can make the leap to success, they can also. Some of my background, I was a non traditional student, who took many years to achieve my college degrees. When the great recession hit, at age 58 I began my second career as a License Professional Counselor in Ohio at an emergency mental health services agency. When I finally was able to sell my house in Toledo and move to Florida, I needed my LMHC to work. I found fulfilment and meaning in encouraging others. It was a way to thank the many people who unknowingly had lifted me up when I felt overwhelmed. A coworker at the crises center I worked at told me about your program. She emphasized the importance of focusing on the test simulations. After reviewing the other test preparation sites, yours was determined to be superior. I spent much time reading the DSM 5 and made the mistake of waiting too close to the deadline of the exam to sign up for only a 30 review. Then I discovered all of the rest of the information that I didn't know. The various types of treatment, theories behind the approaches, group counseling, and testing inventories. Not to mention HIPPA rules, audits ... The first exam I had more than enough points on the Information Gathering portion but not the amount needed on the Decision Making. Since points were deducted for incorrect choices, I did not have enough confidence to select as many answers than a few. This is where I improved the second time around. I really appreciated that the repeat review was free especially after not being employed for more than a year! But additional time to study will help make me a more competent clinician and increase my professional knowledge.
