11/6/2017 I can't even begin to express how thankful I am for this resource! Today I passed my exam on the first attempt (with a significant margin)! I spent two months studying by myself prior to signing up for the website. I poured over different study guides and looked all over the internet for resources to help prepare me. Honestly, I wish I had just started with the website. I loved the different modalities featured on the site and nothing could top the numerous and varied simulations (with accompanying rationalizations/feedback). I felt really prepared when I walked into my exam. After spending time on this website, I knew exactly what to expect from the test and how to answer the test-maker's questions. I would like to personally thank Dr. Hutchinson and Dr. Alyson Carr for their resources. My heart is so full of love for the work that they do! I was so touched when Dr. Hutchinson extended time on the site for victims of hurricane Irma. Dr. Hutchinson and Dr. Carr really have the tesk-takers interests at heart. This is an awesome resource with incredible admins. I would recommend this site a million times to anyone looking to take the NCMHCE.

11/6/2017 Today on 11/06/2017, I officially passed the NCMHCE on my first try! The resources and 150+ simulations were crucial in preparing me for understanding the test format and selecting the correct responses to each section. Counselingexam.com was the only resource I used to study for the exam. While I encourage others to diversify their study materials, you be be assured that this website is the place that brings it all together. Thank you for all the help and providing a resource that replicates the exam almost to the letter! This came highly recommended by every colleague I have spoken too about the test. You can be certain I will also share this resource to others.

11/6/2017 I passed the NCMHCE today, 11/6/17, thanks to this website! I failed the first time I took it and probably would have failed again were it not for counselingexam.com. The simulations do a great job of preparing you for test questions! This has to be the BEST test prep resource available anywhere! Money well spent!

11/6/2017 11/6/17, 4 days before my birthday, I am happy to say that I PASSED the NCMHCE!!!! I subscribed to this site for 30 days and studied everyday non-stop! I became obsessed with studying! (lol) I literally started to memorize all of the simulations and rehearsed them in my sleep. This site was definitely influential in me passing this exam on the FIRST TRY. The key to passing (in my opinion) is STUDYING: identify and learn what the test creators are looking for and asking for when it comes to information gathering and decision making. I cannot stress that enough to future test takers...study...study...study! The most valuable sections on this site (and that were the most helpful in preparing to take the exam) were the simulations and full 3-hour practice exams. I also did numerous case studies that focused on diagnoses (helped me with becoming more familiar with the DSM 5). The case studies were influential in me learning differential diagnoses, duration of symptoms (criteria for identified diagnosis), and presenting symptoms associated with diagnoses. I LOVED that when you selected something that was "wrong" "not indicated" "not chosen", it gave you feedback as to why it was not correct, indicated, or chosen. I took notes as I took simulation after simulation, and case study after case study. I wouldn't say that the real exam was easier than the simulations and practice exams I found on this site (in my opinion), but I will say that I was prepared for what I encountered on the actual exam (thanks to this phenomenal site). Well wishes to all the future test takers!!! I BELIEVE IN YOU! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! YOU CAN DO IT! Never ever accept defeat...claim VICTORY right from the start. Love, from South Carolina. 10/24/2017 I just passed my NCMHCE today-10/24/17! Phew! I used counselingexam.com back in 2013 when I took my NCE for my NC LPC licensure and it really helped! Now that I moved to NY, I had to take the NCMCHE for my NY LMHC. I knew to use counselingexam.com since it helped me previously. I have to say, the amount and quality of the content on the site is superb in preparing you for these exams. I wouldn't use any other study tool- counselingexam.com has been there for me each time I needed it- definitely worth the price! Thanks!

4/24/2016 First off, let me explain how bad my test anxiety has been in my life. In high school, I bombed the SAT and ACT and went to community college and then a state school. In undergrad, I was a double major and on Dean's list. I took the GRE. Bombed it. I got into grad school and failed the CPCE the first time. So, here comes my licensure exam. Are you ready for this? The first time I took it...I PASSED!!!! Greatest feeling of accomplishment. I owe it ALL to you guys. This website prepared me for the exam. I felt the exam was easier than the simulations. With the material, simulations and Dr. Carr's videos, I felt well versed and well prepared. Thank you so much!!! I sincerely couldn't have done it without you.

10/18/2017 10-18-2017 Hello! I wanted to share that I found this website and study tool to be extremely helpful in preparing me for the NCMHCE. I took the exam previously after using another company's study material and failed, and was discouraged. Several individuals recommended this website to me and I studied using the 30 day subscription leading up to taking my exam last week, and I passed with nearly perfect scores! Your website is very user friendly and I was pleased that I was able to use it on my cell phone as well, it was very convenient and applicable. The simulations and practice exams were the most helpful and gave me some great practice, and familiarized me with how the test is structured. I appreciate that I was able to get an explanation of the correct and incorrect answers as well. I am recommending this website to my colleagues who will also be taking the exam. Thank you so much!!

10/17/2017 Woohoo!!! I passed the NCMHCE on 10/13/17 on my first try! I have no doubt that counseling exam.com was instrumental in my success with passing this exam. This is the full package when it comes to studying for the test and you won't need anything else (unless you want to reference the actual DSM5 but TBH thats all in here too). The key for me was to practice simulation after simulation to fully understand how the exam wants me to think.
