4/9/2018 I felt truly prepared for the exam walking in. The similations are perfect practice to get you ready for the actual exam. Thank you very much Counselingexam.com. My advice is to take as many or all of the simulations and practice exams before your test date. Also the exam tips were incredibly encouraging as well. I passed on the first try due to this prep package.

4/5/2018 Passed the exam first time! Counselingexam was so helpful and really helped me with my studying. The sumulatuons and practice exams were the best. However, all of the info on the website and the book were a great resource. Thank you!

4/4/2018 I passed without any problems! I purchased a subscription and then had to add on additional time (partly due to my anxiety, and that I scheduled my exam a few weeks after my subscription ended). But this site is a life saver. It taught me exactly HOW to take the licensure exam. Once I knew what answers the exam was actually looking for, it became much easier. I spent majority of my time doing all of the practice simulations and quizzes. With the actual 'book' that comes with the subscription I read the DSM diagnoses and the Interventions section in-depth. Overall, this site is a great tool to use to study for the exam. I am so happy that a colleague of mine had suggested it. So far, 5 people including myself have used this site and all of us have passed!

4/3/2018 Passed on my first try! Purchased a 90 day subscription. The quizzes were helpful, videos and flash cards not so much. I really focused on the simulations, per advice from others that passed-just keep doing them over and over until you start to figure out what the test is looking for versus what you think the right answer is. Eventually you start passing the simulations and it becomes a lot easier. The site has everything you need (and more) to be prepared for the exam.

4/3/2018 I passed. Your website made all the difference. I have to admit, initially, I was so confused about why I was getting so many questions wrong and failing the quizzes. This test is kind of bizarre, actually. Anyway, your tips and flashcards and videos etc. made all the difference. The place where I took my exam would not let me wear my watch or even take it in--it was a Timex, not an Apple watch or anything. Plus, I had to take off all of my bracelets and rings--so they wouldn't jingle and bother anyone. The bracelets don't make any noise...it was interesting. Just wanted to pass that on. Please donate my remaining time on your site to someone who needs it. Thanks Sue

12/13/2022 Failed exam by a few points after two 90 day subscriptions, taking practice tests 6 days/week plus studying, around 4 hours/day. The actual exam was worded in much more technical/textbook language, including many more choices and ones I had never heard of. I wish the case studies given for practice tests reflected this, as I was totally unprepared for the shock this produced. I know test anxiety set in and since it took so long to select correct choices, I did not have time to take the breaks in between case studies as I had practiced and no time to eat the food I had brought with me. I barely had 4 minutes to spare when I finished.
