7/22/2023 I just wanted to share the good news that I took my NCMHCE exam earlier this week, and I passed. Thanks for your study materials. I’ve been out of school for over a decade and decided to now pursue licensure. It was a big lift to get reacquainted with all the subject material. Your study material really helped give me structure, breadth, and depth of the material and lots of practice with the narrative format in short form and full-length exams.

7/22/2023 Good Evening; I took my exam today, and it was my second attempt for the NCMHCE. I PASSED the exam, and I cannot say enough about how much more I was prepared, given all the support I received personally and professionally. However, your counseling exam material and all the tools provided, as well as the unwavering support with having another opportunity to employ all that I learned using your tutorials, flashcards, videos, pdf files, question-based formats, narratives, practice exams, etc., was truly the essentials necessary that were pivotal in my accomplishment. I thank you genuinely for all that I learned, and I hope to encourage anyone planning to take this exam to utilize your resources as a measurable means to gain insight and awareness in preparation. As well, I found this material to be profoundly useful for even already established practitioners. 7/19/2023 Took my test yesterday and passed on the first try!! This program was super helpful (probably over prepared me to be honest). The narrative tests and the full length tests really prepared me for the experience. I did the 60 day route and then added a few days on. I agree with other reviewers that the test is more a "test on how to take a test" vs "a test about counseling. The "tidbits" in the study format of the narratives really helped with those test taking skills. On top of preparing me for the NCMHCE exam, I also feel like this program helped strengthen and solidify my knowledge and skills that help me in my day to day work. I would highly recommend this program!

1/29/2025 20 years ago, I used this program to successfully pass the NCE on my first attempt, so when I found out I had to take the AMFTRB, I came back. Once again, success! Found out today that I passed on my first try! Thank you!

7/13/2023 I passed!!!!! Thank you!!! I love this site, and I only wish I would have utilized it more regularly. I am wondering how I would be able to have "lifetime access" because I find this to be such a wonderful reference site and also a way to stay fresh on theories and skills. The podcast series was also a wonderful way to review for the exam, as I had a 2-hour drive the morning of the exam. You provide an invaluable service! Thank you, Christi

7/12/2023 THANK YOU COUNSELING EXAM! I was honestly so nervous and scared about taking the NCMHCE. Multiple people from my cohort suggested I try this website to help me study. At first, I felt really discouraged with how I was doing on the practice exams (constantly scoring in the 60s). However, with time, practice, using the resources provided, and even taking the short practice narratives with my supervisor, I began to see improvements. In the end, my average score for the practice exams ended up closely aligning with the score I got on the real thing!

7/11/2023 I PASSED!!!! Thank you to the creators and contributors to this site. It was invaluable and helped me to feel prepared. The exam is difficult and long, but the preparation from this site gave me confidence going into the exam. The podcast series is also a great refresher/overview of the big theories and disorders as well as valuable study strategies. Of course the practice narratives and practice exams were helpful, but I also appreciated the flashcards, technique trees and videos. Take full advantage of this amazing resource! I wish I could have a lifetime subscription just to use as a reference site and to stay fresh with theories, etc. Thank you again Linton and team!
