11/2/2018 This site was truly a lifesaver! I started studying 4 weeks out, and I had no idea where to even start. I looked all over online and couldn't find anything useful or priced reasonably. This site wasn't cheap, but it was worth it for all the content available. I started with videos to learn about how the test was constructed and how it is scored. Then I took A LOT of practice exams and simulations. It was clear that I needed to learn HOW to take the test, not just the information on it. Those simulations were seriously gold. They were very true to the real-life exam conditions. I learned so much about diagnosis, techniques, and assessment simply through the simulation feedback. I also learned how to respond on the test to best succeed. I attempted to use the flashcards and other areas of the site, but there was so much information that it was overwhelming. It was easiest to take the practice exams with a DSM and Google at hand to look up things that I didn't know. Very satisfied with this purchase, it definitely made the difference between passing and not!

8/19/2018 I studied for the NCMHCE using solely the materials found on counselingexam.com and I passed on my first attempt! I found the use of the simulations to be most beneficial as the repetitive nature of working through them makes the actual exam less "scary". When you sit for the actual exam, it feels just like sitting at home and working through the hundreds of Dr. Linton's simulations. Many thanks to Dr. Linton, his staff, and CounselingExam.com!

2/24/2017 I took my exam 2 weeks ago and, as promised, I did pass the first time. I highly recommend the investment in Dr. Hutchinson's program. The simulations online were exactly like what I experienced on the real exam. That helped reduce the anxiety tremendously! I signed up for two months and studied every day. Well worth the time and money!
