1/26/2024 I am so happy that I finally passed. I am a little ashamed that it took me 5 times to pass the exam. I finally buckled down with this program and took all the practice exams.I did a lot of praying and studying. I didn't just pass, I passed with a 79%. Don't be discouraged if you don't get it the first time or first few times. I am living proof that with much prayer and studying you can beat test anxiety.

1/24/2024 Passed my NCMHCE exam yesterday, first try! The material on the site was spot on for what I needed for the exam. The Narrative Mapping video was very helpful and allowed me more time to complete the exam and not waste time reading, when I didn't really need to. 1/22/2024 I was directed to this site by many Reddit users. I am very glad I was! I ordered the complete study package, and studied almost daily for 2 months. I passed my ncmhce at 72%, (passing was 66%). The practice narratives were almost exactly like the exam, so just knowing what to expect was very helpful. I liked that you gave me a weekly average of scores, because I was up and down with my scores, which was worrisome, but seeing that on average, I was passing helped me feel more sure of myself come exam day. It's also nice to watch the videos and answer extra questions about specific topics, especially once I identified a need for reminding me of certain diagnoses, etc. I personally found your narratives to be a little harder or trickier than the exam. I would absolutely recommend this study package for anyone taking the ncmhce!

1/22/2024 Just wanted to praise the team at counselingexam.com for helping me pass the NCMHCE on the first try. I knew more than I thought I did and felt well-prepared going into the exam. I listened to all of the podcasts with Stacy and Dr. Hutchinson to and from work, and felt like they were in the room with me while I was taking the test. As a bonus, I now know everything I need to know about bogo sushi at Publix. This site is well worth the investment. I would not be nearly as prepared as I needed to be without its resources.

1/20/2024 Thank you SO much for this resource! I took my exam yesterday and passed on the first try. Thanks to your study tools, I was able to get a 76 (66 needed to pass). I was most thankful for your narratives, exam simulations, and therapy trees. I also appreciated all the mini quizzes and games that helped keep it fun. The mindfulness helps for text anxiety as well as the pre / day of exam tips were also extremely helpful in keeping me calm and focused. THANK YOU! You helped make the impossible - possible!

1/10/2024 I wanted to Thank Counseling Exam for the support in my journey of passing the NCMHCE and becoming Licensed. I still can’t believe it. The third Time was the Charm for me! Passing with Flying with Color was not my case, but every resource provided to me were facts about the exam. There were no trick questions, the case presentation were great examples and evidence base. I bought the year subscript and every resource provided by Counseling Exam. The first time I failed by seven points and by the second try I failed, again by 1 point. Each time I learned new things about myself and new ways to study. I finally reached out to the program to renew the program and they did as promised! I continued to study and focus on the case questions to understand what it was asking, reading the tidbits, pacing my reading and breathing, using the audio recording, podcast, flashcards, the games provided in the program (everything), and personally focused on studying different sections on rotation! One thing I do recommend, if you find yourself burning out from studying, taking quizzes, and 4-hour exams — take the break, you deserve it! Once you’ve taken the break you need, go back to it. You can do it, I promise you PASS is worth it.
