9/30/2024 I passed the exam this past Friday and found the material on counselingexample.com to be very helpful. The narratives were very similar to those on the test, which eased my test anxiety quite a bit once I started the first narrative. I mainly used the narratives and practice tests but found the other material to be helpful as well. I started studying about a month before my test and would spend 1-2 hrs. a day working on the narratives and did one of the practice exams each weekend. Thank you!

9/9/2024 Hello, wonderful people at Counselingexam.com! I took the exam for the first time in August and have an unofficial passing score of 72~ yay!!! I know I would not have done this well without your wonderful program and staff who were patient with me through my process! I had a brain injury in 2018 that set me back for several years. I finished classes in 2016, so I had to struggle with the material to dredge up my knowlege~ my Florida internship and your program have been pivotal for me! I have just one more hour of supervision and I am fully qualified for licensure!!! I highly recommend your system to prepare for and pass the exam on the first try. 9/2/2024 I passed my exam in 8/30. This site was very helpful but it can seem a bit overwhelming at times. I drove myself crazy for thr first Two weeks; however, I understand that this site helps you learn everything. The scariest part is half the information you study will NOT be the exam. What helped me most was the narratives and exams. You need to know HOW TO TAKE THIS TEST! Of course knowing the diagnosis, interventions, ethics and more is important But practicing how to take this exam and the way the ask the questions are important. Thank you

8/26/2024 Whoop whoop… I took the NCNHCE on Thursday and have, what I think is, an unofficial passing score (the report showed 66 to pass and I scored 72). I can’t wait to get the official score 😁😁😁 I thought I would offer some of the things I did in the process 🤗 1. Counselingexam.com was an Excellent tool to prepare me and take the mystery out of the process. I gained high-level understanding and confidence through it. It has audio/visual and text resources, as well as fun learning games and word puzzle games. I utilized all formats and found each helpful in their ways.

8/26/2024 I passed on my first attempt today in NY (yay!) after lots of studying and stress... 65 the passing score and I got a 74. I used counselingexam.com and it was SO helpful in preparation for the actual exam. I also listened to the accompanying podcast, which was informative and entertaining (thank you Stacy and Linton). The test was tough, but went slowly, read carefully, and remembered to breathe. It took me the entire time, almost to the second. Good luck to everyone!

8/25/2024 I passed!!! First time, studied about 2 hrs a day for 3 weeks then 1 week with no studying. I went into the exam room feeling like I was going to fail because I felt completely unprepared. I needed a 65 to pass and I got a 66. God bless counselingexam.com.

9/22/2024 The practice scenarios provided on your website do not adequately represent the diversity of clients that may be encountered in the NMHC exam, particularly those from the LGBTQIA+ community. The limited number and scope of scenarios made it difficult to prepare for all potential scenarios and ultimately contributed to my failure to pass the exam."
