4/2/2018 I took the test yesterday and finally PASSED! I had to take the test a total of 3 times. Since I BARELY failed my first test, I didn't think I would need to study much more for the second time. I was wrong....failed it again by the same amount of points. So, I decided to get a subscription to this site and it was exactly what I needed. To the future test takers, don't waste your money buying the study books you can get online from various places. The key to this test is running scenario after scenario until you finally understand what the test makers are wanting you to answer. No where else gives you so many scenarios and practice exams with the exact conditions you see on the exam. I find what helped me was literally taking each question, one by one, and answering to the best of my ability. Do not worry about the outcome as you're taking it. This test is awful for test anxiety because it gives you an idea how you're doing all the way along. Every time you get a wrong answer, you will know cuz it will say "Not addressed," "Not useful." AKA, wrong answer! So don't do what I did which is get a wrong answer and then freak out even more. For my last attempt, my mantra became "You can still miss some and pass." I am thankful for this site and will recommend it to anyone that takes this test. Good luck to all of you!

10/6/2017 Oct. 6 2017 I am so very thankful for this site. I just took my exam this afternoon for the first time and I am so excited to say that I PASSED!!! I only subscribed to the site for 30 days but it was DEFINITELY worth it! I completed all the practice simulations and exams, which was very beneficial. I would highly recommend this site to anyone who is taking this exam!!

10/4/2017 I passed the test yesterday. I had been studying just the DSM 5 when a friend referred me here. I only used program for a week but did about 77 simulations. There is no doubt in my mind I would have failed without this program. It is comprehensive and mot important gets you ready for a tough exam. Would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone taking this test. Thank you.

After having been out of counseling for 20 years, working as a stay at home mom, I set out to get my foot back in the door to counseling again last January. My first attempt at taking the NCMHCE didn't get me a "pass," but my second attempt today did! Your site was incredible at getting me back up to speed again and preparing me for the exam. 10/4/2017 I was skeptical at first as to how this was going to help me pass the NCMHCE but this was by far and away the best money I spent on preparing for this exam. For 60 days I spent around 2-3 hours each day slowly working through the various contents of the site and by the time my test rolled around I was confident and prepared. Loved this site! 10/3/2017 OMG! After 2 attempts I finally passed the exam with flying colors. I was very anxious the first 2 times and constantly worried about failing but I was determined to pass because that was my ultimate goal. My advice to the future test takers, please review groups, diagnoses, differential diagnoses, theories, culture was a big one and ethics. Also keep practicing the simulations to get the format. After failing twice I had to come up with own strategy to beat this exam and I kept practicing the simulations everyday and sometimes 3-4 times. I listened to the theories on the audio while I am driving as it became a routine for me. This website helped tremendously to reach my ultimate goal. Hey! if I can do it, you can do it as well! Thank you Dr. Linton and your crew because they were very responsive every time I emailed about any issues. God bless!

10/2/2017 I just passed the NCMHCE earlier this morning, and studied using the materials offered through this site. I have to say... I've taken the LSAT and the GMAT in the past and have used multiple "other" resources to prepare myself. The resources at Counselingexam made me feel far more prepared for a test than any of the former materials ever offered. I am so grateful for Linton and his team. If you subscribe to this site, rest assured you will be beyond prepared. The scenarios help concentrate the most essential pieces of information one looks for to generate precise information gathering gathering, decision making and diagnostic skills. Don't think twice... SERIOUSLY!!

9/19/2017 Loved this site! I just passed my exam yesterday for the first time and a great deal of that was thanks to the guidance provided on the site as well as the many simulations and practice exams I was able to take! I would recommend this site to anyone looking to pass the NCMHCE!!!
