10/24/2017 I just passed my NCMHCE today-10/24/17! Phew! I used counselingexam.com back in 2013 when I took my NCE for my NC LPC licensure and it really helped! Now that I moved to NY, I had to take the NCMCHE for my NY LMHC. I knew to use counselingexam.com since it helped me previously. I have to say, the amount and quality of the content on the site is superb in preparing you for these exams. I wouldn't use any other study tool- counselingexam.com has been there for me each time I needed it- definitely worth the price! Thanks!

4/24/2016 First off, let me explain how bad my test anxiety has been in my life. In high school, I bombed the SAT and ACT and went to community college and then a state school. In undergrad, I was a double major and on Dean's list. I took the GRE. Bombed it. I got into grad school and failed the CPCE the first time. So, here comes my licensure exam. Are you ready for this? The first time I took it...I PASSED!!!! Greatest feeling of accomplishment. I owe it ALL to you guys. This website prepared me for the exam. I felt the exam was easier than the simulations. With the material, simulations and Dr. Carr's videos, I felt well versed and well prepared. Thank you so much!!! I sincerely couldn't have done it without you.

10/18/2017 10-18-2017 Hello! I wanted to share that I found this website and study tool to be extremely helpful in preparing me for the NCMHCE. I took the exam previously after using another company's study material and failed, and was discouraged. Several individuals recommended this website to me and I studied using the 30 day subscription leading up to taking my exam last week, and I passed with nearly perfect scores! Your website is very user friendly and I was pleased that I was able to use it on my cell phone as well, it was very convenient and applicable. The simulations and practice exams were the most helpful and gave me some great practice, and familiarized me with how the test is structured. I appreciate that I was able to get an explanation of the correct and incorrect answers as well. I am recommending this website to my colleagues who will also be taking the exam. Thank you so much!!

10/17/2017 Woohoo!!! I passed the NCMHCE on 10/13/17 on my first try! I have no doubt that counseling exam.com was instrumental in my success with passing this exam. This is the full package when it comes to studying for the test and you won't need anything else (unless you want to reference the actual DSM5 but TBH thats all in here too). The key for me was to practice simulation after simulation to fully understand how the exam wants me to think. 10/16/2017 Who said Friday, the 13th was cursed?! On 10-13-17 I passed the NCMEHCE in Chicago, Il and there is no doubt that CounselingExam.com was instrumental in this. This site is wide and expansive and is really a one-stop-shop for all things NCMHCE. Best investment I’ve ever made. In my opinion the actual exam was CAKE compared to the simulations on this site. But that is a good thing! It’s strength training. Literally throughout the exam I was saying, “c’mon you can do better than this, these are no brainers.” Hoping that is the case for you too. 7/6/2017 10-13-2017 Hi Linton and your amazing team, I took my NCMHCE Exam this morning. I passed!!! I used all but 15 minutes of the allocated time, in large part, because you suggested slowing down and evaluating my chosen answers before hitting the "Are you sure?" submission button. I was extremely satisfied that the simulations and practice exams were on the same level of difficulty as the actual exam. I felt confident in my studying - I'd listened to all 15 CDs I purchased, balanced my family life and my professional life during the last 5 months, and read A LOT of the information you provided on the site and in the daily e-mails. I appreciate how thorough your prep program is and how closely you simulated the actual exam. My only surprise was the mix of the types of clients included. There was no way to anticipate that on anyone's part. I have already recommended your program to RMHCIs I know and will do so for as long as I have contact with Interns and Students. 3/15/2018 10-14-2017 Hey Guys, I just wanted to say that I passed my exam today with an 86%! I took the exam last year without studying and scored 72% which was a fail. I bought the one-month subscription and spent 2 weeks taking the simulated exams and averaged a score of 78-80%. I think the website made a huge difference in how I scored. A major component of this test is understanding the questions and how you lose points for wrong answers. The tutorials were helpful for helping me identify what type of question was being asked. The videos were cheesy but they helped me understand more of what they were asking for. One thing I would tell people, besides to practice the tests and watch the videos is to imagine that it's a perfect world. Every symptom matters and should have an intervention or referral. Real world considerations like time and money don't seem to matter when it comes to making referrals or accommodating clients in crisis. Thanks for such great material. I am so relieved to have past the test!
