8/14/2018 I took the NCMHCE on Saturday, August 11 and PASSED! Initially I believed I needed to study EVERYTHING but realized I only needed to study the subjects/topics where I struggled. So I refocused and studied for 1 to 2 hours 5 to 6 days a week for a month and the material helped me to understand the questions and chose the best answer. The simulations test is what took me over the top with my ability to comprehend, the flip cards and quizzes were all instrumental in me gaining the knowledge. I even went through the sections...what to do before the test, test hints, etc. I am so very grateful I was directed to this study material it equipped me with the knowledge to pass on my first try with good scores! I have been recommending this site to everyone I know and have posted the information on my counseling Facebook pages!

8/14/2018 I am very pleased with my experience using counselingexam.com. I took the NCMHCE exam about 3 weeks ago and PASSED on my first try!!! This site came highly recommended by my clinical supervisor in preparation for the licensure exam and I am truly appreciative and grateful that I had this site as a study tool. Focusing on the simulations really helped and made a difference in how I performed on the exam. I would highly recommend counselingexam.com to anyone preparing to take the NCMHCE exam and will recommend to my colleagues, many of whom are preparing to take the test in the near future. 8/12/2018 I tested on August 10, 2018 for the NCMHCE at 8:00am and PASSED!!! I scored 30 points over the passing score on Information Gathering and 25 points over the passing score on Decision Making. So I will toot my own horn and say that I passed with "flying colors". The key for me was not just ordering the material and working on the simulations, it was actually taking time during my busy day of working full time to review the (tutorials) and the DSM info (diagnosis) for at least 1-2 hours. The test is tricky if you do not know the material. I found it helpful to not choose too many choices during the exam. Practice the simulations and try to get through as many that your subscription will allow. The study material was a big help....Thanks!!!

8/11/2018 Yay! I took my test this morning (8/18) and I passed! This was my first try and I owe it all to counselingexam.com. I appreciate how the program gives you a structure to follow, and the simulations were the best! They are just like the real test so I felt completely familiar with the format. I'm so glad I went with this program. LMHC here I come!

8/10/2018 I must admit that this prep exam is a great preparation for the Mental Health Exam. The simulations and full length practice exam was a tremendous help. I would recommend this to anyone whose preparing for the NCMHE. I put in 3-4 hours a day for 4weeks prior to my exam and I PASSED!!!! This was my 2nd time taking the exam and I should have went this route the first time around. The Differential Diagnosis and the code of Ethics section were so helpful!!!!!! Thanks again.

8/8/2018 I just passed my NCMHCE on the first try! I am so happy. My first advice to other testers is this: #1, you must know your diagnosis (Dx) and how to differentiate between similar Dx. #2 you must familiarize yourself with interventions and especially the assessments. You must study these things and know them to pass. Now I used the subscription, followed their test taking tips and used the simulations and 3 practice exams. I did not do the full length practice exams until I was strong on the dsm 5 and improved on assessments. This way I had a good idea of my performance and weaknesses. I failed 2 out of 3 times on full-length practice exams. BUT THERE IS GOOD NEWS TO THIS!! These simulations are harder and prepare you well for the exam! I was relieved when I saw the test was easier, but it was easier, only due to being prepared with Dx, Assessments, and interventions.....plus test-taking tips I got here. I am very very very happy. Thank you! Some cons to the site, is there are mistakes, typos, etc. The free exam had an error and they did fix it when I told them, but it is funny that no one else saw it and emailed about it. I would say if you see any errors, take the time to email them to fix it. I emailed with questions to explain some things I got wrong and I got replies and explanations. So, go for it!

8/7/2018 I just took the NCMHCE this morning and PASSED! I did the 30-day subscription and did all of the simulations to help me learn what they're looking for on the test. I second what a lot of other people have said in their testimonials that the actual exam is easier than the practice ones on this site. For example, on the real test, the DSM-5 diagnosis questions only have 4 choices as opposed to the 7 or so on the practice tests. It also felt like I flew through each simulation on the exam quicker than the simulations. I am writing this testimonial because there were times when I wasn't getting passing scores on my simulations here on this site but I would always read the testimonials on here for reassurance about this program and held my faith and that worked! I will definitely recommend this website to my colleagues...it's the closest thing to the real exam! Zoe, VA
