12/17/2018 I just took my NCMHCE exam on 12/17/18 and passed in a great way. This program was the key to my success...studying the case simulations and practice tests allowed me to be confident when the time came to sit for my test. This study program really works to prepare you for the exam and I would, and have, recommended this site to all! Thanks so much to the developers who have put in time and energy to create this place!

12/16/2018 Everyone I asked recommended this site. When I first subscribed, my thought, was this is way too much information, how will I get through all of this in time. After taking a few practice simulations, I figured out what areas I really needed to work on and focused my time on the site going over materials pertaining to that information. I also had to forget everything I was doing in my real work in my agency, and answer questions based on the very basic of counseling, regarding gathering info and Diagnosing. Once I was able to slow down and not add in any information, I was successful on the site. I walked into my exam feeling like I have studied as best as I could, and it was up to God. I PASSED MY FIRST TRY...... Very relieved and happy to have used this program as my study guide. Thanks... Tracy

12/13/2018 Passed with room to spare. Simulations and practice exams the most useful for me. Gotta get in the particular mindset of this exam. Repetition of sims and practice exams will get you in the groove to recognize what the NCMHCE wants. Take your time, read the questions carefully (i.e. choose as many vs. choose one answer or Differential dx vs. Plausible) and, as they say, you've got this. Jim in WA

12/10/2018 I finished my counseling degree in 2004, before life took me in a different career direction. I came back into the field to begin the licensing process 12 years later. Needless to say, I was intimidated by the test after so much time had passed. I had looked at various options for study material, but decided this program was the most comprehensive, and although it's not cheap, the option to pay for only the amount of time I wanted really appealed to me. I purchased the 30 day packaged about 25 days before my test. I spent the majority of my time doing simulations, while browsing flip cards, etc. between simulations. I just got home from taking the NCMHCE this evening. I passed easily. I wondered how well the simulations would correlate to the actual test. I was extremely pleased with how well they prepared me for the actual test. In fact, after the first 3 cases, I was so excited knowing I was going to pass, I had to work to focus on finishing the rest of the cases accurately. I would just say "thank you" for money well spent and material that did an excellent job (along with the good 'ol paperback DSM-V) of helping me prepare and have confidence to pass the test. I would absolutely recommend this program to others taking this test. Chris M

12/10/2018 I graduated from the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program in 2013 and have completed my needed supervision hours for licensure several months ago. But, I have put off taking this darn test out of fear. I historically have pretty bad test anxiety and do not do well with standardized testing. So, needless to say, just the thought of having to take this test gave me nightmares. To make matters worse, most of my colleagues told me horror stories of how hard the test was and how many times they had to take it in order to pass. Since it had been some years since graduating from my masters program, I was overwhelmed with the prospect of refreshing my knowledge on all the information that I could potentially be tested on. I happened upon this website by recommendation from a few people. I practiced the simulations and took several quizzes this website had to offer. On 12/10/28, I took the NCMHCE and passed it with flying colors! I'm so thankful I'm doing something I never do...Write a review. The simulations seriously prepared me for the test in every way; from how to navigate through the actual exam, to how to answer the questions. I would recommend this website to anyone!

12/9/2018 Please do yourself a favor and use this website to study for the exam. I went to an in person class previously prior to taking my exam and I failed on my first attempt. I decided to purchase a month's subscription from this site and studied the majority of the month. I focused on the case simulations and completed 5 per day and then on the weekends I would complete the 3 hour exams. Needless to say, I passed the exam on my second try thanks to this website, trainers, and abundance of material. I would even venture to say that the practice simulations are harder than the actual exam which is great because it makes you that much more prepared. Thank you again and again-the weight has been lifted and my career can now flourish!!
