8/11/2020 Hi there, I am a 53 yo wife, mom of two, work two jobs and went back for grad school in 2009. One class at a time, evenings. Finally received masters in 2013. Took some time away to help child with Tourette Syndrome with academics. Went back for CAGS degree in 2018. Shortly thereafter was dx with breast cancer, had radical surgery. All the while working through the CAGS program, which included internships etc. Thank goodness I was already doing in home counseling for a non-profit. They, along with my family, the college disability center and counseling dept were extremely helpful. I finished that coursework in May 2019. However, bec the dept reorganized their program, they did not offer CAGS anymore. I was the last straggler; and they wouldn't acknowledge the CAGS degree until I passed the NCMHCE. :/ I took the exam last November and failed by 1 point! (which I understand happens more often than people realize). I was upset, but knew I wasn't thoroughly prepared. This time professors recommended your program. Honestly, with Covid, helping son get through senior hs year, adapting to working from home, I was stressed thinking about impending test. I went with your program; but really only concentrated on doing the brief simulations. Yesterday (after a week of family vaca, sun and fun/not so much study), I passed the exam!. I also did the brief simulations most days for a month before. It really clued me in to what they wanted for answers. I've been in human services for 20 years, so I was over analyzing the sims. Beside obtaining my licensure, I will finally receive that CAGS 20,000 student loan diploma which I worked hard for! 8/9/2020 Mere words can not convey how much I appreciate getting the necessary training online. I studied for several months before taking the exam and passed it yesterday, 8/8/20! The first time...wow! I utilized the information from the site and applied the information to ease through the questions. I heard several testimonies about how others passed the exam but never knew I would be one of the many to now mimic those same words. I am grateful to God for allowing this site to be instrumental in my learning process and helping me to becoming a LMHC!!! I have already recommend the site to several colleagues to help them as well. All of the material was useful and I learned so much more than graduate school offered.

8/4/2020 I can not thank you enough! I just passed the exam and I know I was led to this website! I graduated with my master's degree in 2004 but never got licensed. I decided to in November of 2019 and found your site and thank GOD I did. The information and simulations prepared me so well for the actual exam. After being out of school for so long I was understandably nervous. I began using your site and I can not thank you enough. The simulations are so close in design to the actual test that this is priceless. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Counselingexam.com. I feel as if I know you all from watching all the videos. 8/4/2020 I passed!! I have been waiting to say that since October 2019. I have had so many reschedules of my exam it was at the point of being comical. Due to human mistakes in submitting hours, other unforeseen issues, and well a Pandemic my exam was rescheduled 3 times. (Is my life a sitcom? I know someone’s gotta be punking me, right?!) But here I sit letting you know that I passed, and I contribute it to the materials available on your website. I would not have passed without the simulations. Period. I am not a good test taker. I am one of those people that has to study their heart out to even get an okay grade on a test. I have major test anxiety. I found myself thinking…what is the question asking for, don’t get caught up in what you would do in your office, stick to what would be best in this scenario, look back over all the symptoms before making your choices. I had been struggling with the Decision-Making area prior to taking the exam, but remembering all of these things helped me stay calm, look at the info provided, and I passed by a margin larger than I had in any of the simulated tests. So, all that to say… Thank you for providing such a well-organized study website! Be sure I will be sending all of my counseling friends your way when they are preparing for their exams.
