10/23/2023 I passed the NCMHCE on my first try three days ago. I bought a subscription for 30 days, which I felt was worth the money and time spent on the site. This material helped me get acquainted with the test format and helped expose me to what the test was looking for. What is tricky about this exam, is you have to answer it like they want you to, not necessarily how a good therapist might respond. I did not use many of the study materials, though they looked good. The main reason I didn't use them is that it overwhelmed me to navigate. It would have been so nice if I could have downloaded one large packet of materials, instead of clicking through everything and downloading it if I wanted. Also, there were multiple typos in the practice narratives. Ultimately, I used this site to practice the exams and other materials I bought for my CPCE to study the content. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I will recommend this to my colleagues and friends. I especially appreciated the ability to toggle the exam mode on and off in order to create exam conditions or just study as I take it and see what I was getting right/wrong. Thank you for your program!

7/27/2023 ITS OFFICIAL I PASSED!!! I took the exam in October for 2022 and failed decision making by one point. Uggggh. With practice and more confidence I can say I passed. The tools an case study was a real life saver.

6/10/2023 While this is a great site and works for practice in some level of the prompt, having recently failed the new version there is a massive discrepancy between the two, not only in content and presentation, but also in regards to questions themselves. I am uncertain if this was due to getting a harder examination, but as it stands this prepared me for approximately 30 ish percent of the test. The rest appeared vastly different. This is still probably the best resource available and would recommend to those studying for the examination. As said below though being able to pass the practice exam consistently will be your best indicator of success.

4/18/2023 I passed the test yesterday and I have to thank this program as a big part of why, and I only studied for one week (I don't recommend). I knew quite a bit coming in, as I've worked in the field for six years. However, this was really great for getting me used to the format of the test and how to pace myself. Also, on which areas to focus on. Like others have said, some of the errors were mildly frustrating, and I submitted feedback about some of the ambiguous wording used for the questions. Other than that, no complaints at all. I love the smaller narratives for when I didn't have time to do a full exam, and I loved how rationale was provided for each answer. As for someone who just tested, I'll mention a few topics that I saw quite frequently on the exam, so be sure you're up to speed on: CBT (soooo much CBT Qs. Know the cognitive errors and the techniques/interventions), SFT Solution Focused Therapy, know what kind of language you'd use, Reflection of Meaning, differential diagnosis, statements of empathy, Exposure Therapy, ERP Exposure and Response Prevention, Panic Disorder, and OCD...maybe it was just my exam, but I had a whole narrative about OCD with so many detailed Qs. 4/18/2023 Your program was recommended to me by every clinician at my agency. I did a month of services and passed yesterday! The amount of information is worth the investment! My only complaint is that the way the information is presented is a little overwhelming and outdated but it is good information. If you had a phone app that would make this program a 10/10 for me.

11/27/2022 I took the narrative format of the NCMHCE and passed on my first try! Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone taking the exam. The narratives were helpful, and I focused my studying on specific sections. I will admit, all of the content can be overwhelming at first. However, the product breaks down how well you do in each section, which helped me focus on specific areas I was struggling in. The only reason, I did not give this 5 stars was because it was clear that they rushed this product for the new narrative exam format. There were so many typos, and some content was missing from sections needed to answer questions. I reported questions/narratives that had content issues, and the company was always quick to respond. Minor revisions are needed, but I passed, so I'm happy!
