1/18/2016 I just PASSED my exam this afternoon! I used counselingexam.com and found it extremely helpful. I just took the simulations and final exams until I passed each of them. I feel if you can pass these simulations, you should be able to pass the exam as his are more detailed and harder then the exam. I also read 'Selecting Effective Treatments: A Comprehensive, Systematic Guide to Treating Mental Disorders-4th edition' by Linda Seligman, Lourie W. Reichenberg and the 'DSM 5 Made Easy' by James Morrison and found these helpful for interventions and case studies. I wish everyone that is studying the best of luck!

1/17/2018 I would recommend counseling exam.com to anyone who is looking to pass the NCMHCE exam the first time. It was helpful in both the structure of the website, as well as the content of the practice quizzes and tests. It also provided a good variety of methods to learn the information. I will be recommending this website to anyone I know that needs to study for either the NCE and/or the NCMHCE.

5/17/2016 I am a person who lives to Pay if Forward in kindness to honor special people. I am going to TELL the world of Mental Health professionals that they need your book. I mean that with all my heart. Get ready ........everyone in this profession is going to want your book and of course, your e course. This book is NOT a STUDY aid, but a THERAPIST BIBLE! It is the greatest book ever, next to my bible! You are THE BEST OF THE BEST! I feel I am finally learning something! I do not know where you are located in the US, but if you are anywhere close, I want to find you and give you the biggest hug! I WILL be telling the world about you..again I am known as the person who knows everyone....everyone in this profession is gong to hear about this book...WOW! I am on top of the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am actually really - Finally learning what I should have learned in grad school! I am the third out of 30 in my cohort to take this exam and I can HIGHLY recommend everyone else do the same and get the $239 pkg.

6/12/2018 Hi Dr. Hutchinson, Thank you for providing the NCMHCE review group on LinkedIn and for your great online study course! I passed the second time around and your course was a great help! When I watched the "Jacob" inspiration video I felt like that was made for me and it gave me hope! Then the walls of Jericho one was amazing since I am an avid reader of the Bible. Now the girl in the kitchen was a major shock when I heard her name! If you insert everyone's names in that video that is a riot! I couldn't believe when I heard "Francine" as she kept short cutting her recipe. And that is just how I approached things the first time around! That was a major inspiration to be more thorough andI passed the 2nd time around thanks to Jonathan Maletz's workshop and counselingexam.com! Both were excellent and I would not attempt the exam without at least one of them. I purchased other study tools the first time which were not nearly as helpful. Because of the comments in this group I had the faith to invest in Jonathan and Dr. Hutchinson's courses. The second test seemed much harder than the first one for me and I'm so glad I was as prepared as I was. Thank you to all the contributors here. This is a great site! careful during the test. Big high five to you for your investment in LPCs to really know their stuff as they graduate into the world of LCPCs!! May God bless you abundantly.

1/7/2018 I took my exam at 9:00am this morning (Saturday, 10/18/14) and I passed!!! I can't thank you enough for the extra time you so generously extended to me with the subscription and the additional pointers you sent to me. Words can not express how grateful I am for your NCMHCE study & practice material included in the subscription. It is absolutely worth its content in gold! After all the time and money we (master's level) spend on the degree and the supervision hours, it is still challenging to secure employment without the license. For me, subscribing was truly an investment in my career/future. I especially appreciated the inspirational motivation pieces...boy were they useful:) Most definitely, I will be spreading the word! When I saw PASS, first I went into the bathroom at the site, dropped to my knees and thanked God. When I got outside, I stretched my hands up and said, "Free at last, free at last. Thank God almighty, I'm free at last!" After I got home, I actually laminated the printout:) Thank you!!

10/28/2017 I am using the Jonathan Maletz course after studying with Dr. Linton since July and think it has been a great combo. I'd recommend both highly!

1/29/2016 I want to thank you for the program that you have put together for exam preparation. I am an education major and did not have the Psychology background. I was very nervous about taking the exam. Many of my colleagues stated that it took them two to three times if not more to pass the exam. I want you to know that I purchased the three month subscription of interactive study, and I pass my test on the first try! I am now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

10/3/2014 I have been so stressed at finishing last semester of grad school and having the NCE exam on the same week. Papers due, final exams, etc. left me with little time to study for the NCE. Plus I am in so much debt....Anyway, I want you to know that I didn't even know about your site until a week before the exam and I was really beginning to panic. I was using the NCE Preparation Manual and was becoming overwhelmed with the scope of the material being presented. I found your site and subscribed in an attempt to alleviate anxiety. I wish to thank you for doing what you are doing. It was convenient and comforting to be able to get feedback from the quizzes, plus continual reinforcement of material by presenting questions over again. The large number of e-mails filled with relevant information also was beneficial. It was a tremendous help and I feel that I did well on the exam partially due to the confidence I felt after using your product. I also appreciate the cushion which I mistook (assumed) to be other than the act of generosity in which it was offered. I feel that you do genuinely care about your customers and that is a rarity in today's dehumanizing society.
