3/25/2024 I studied off and on for 3 months, around 10 hours a week, and I aced the exam on the first try thanks to this service! I highly recommend this site to all counselors in training. The narratives and practice exams are harder than the actual exam so when it comes to test day, it almost felt too easy! Thank you so much for offering this incredible platform. 3/25/2024 I just passed my test today! I don't think I could have done it without this subscription. The narratives were very similar to the real test. If anything, this subscription was more challenging than the actual test which helped me feel way more prepared. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone trying to pass this test on the first try.

3/5/2024 Good Morning! I took my NCMHCE on Friday, March 1st and I am happy to say I passed the exam well over the score required! I studied for two months using counselingexam.com and the podcast which greatly helped me get into the headspace to not only cope with test anxiety, but to also be able to understand and apply the course content. A huge part of this was the exam tips that discussed the PSTW, narrative mapping, and the overall understanding that the exam is not asking what I would do as a clinician, but is asking for essentially the textbook response. All of this is to say ,“THANK YOU!!!!” Your site and podcast was immensely helpful.

3/4/2024 This exam prep site came highly recommended and I see why. It is expensive but it had a LOT of information presented in many way for all kind of learners: videos, powerpoints, and plain text format. I appreciated the free podcast as well! I used this on and off over the last six months, and I was honestly not doing the greatest with the practice exams, but I found the test-taking tips the most helpful, as I struggle with making small mistakes when understanding what the questions are asking. I took it for the first time last Monday and I passed with a 75, when the passing score was 66! I think some of the things I learned from this material was very helpful.

2/16/2024 I passed, thanks to this site! The variety of study materials (case studies, full length exams, flash cards, word puzzles, games, podcasts, etc.) helped when I wanted to switch things up a bit. I mostly studied the individual case studies as getting immediate feedback was more helpful to me. The case studies helped with the format of the actual exam and how to actually take the NCMHCE. I listened to the podcasts while getting ready in the morning and driving to work. Linton’s acronyms helped so much! Thank you!
