7/15/2019 I recently took the exam and passed on my first try. I focused most of my study time on the simulations and practice tests; studying the material that I got wrong along the way. I also found that reviewing some content flashcards and the exam precautions were extremely helpful as the test drew closer. I found that the simulations and practices were harder than the actual exam which was helpful. I am prone to some test anxiety and so once I began the test and realized how much easier it was than what I had been doing I immediately relaxed and got a much higher score than on any of my practices. Of course, all we have to do is pass, but realizing I was more than prepared as the test began helped to relieve that initial anxiety. This study resource really worked for me, I highly recommend.

7/10/2019 I took my exam yesterday and it was a very easy process with minimal stress. This website is a must. The simulations aren't 100% like the actual exam, but they give you a very good idea (some of the features on the actual exam are different). I went through every practice exam as well as approximately 40 individual simulations. By the time I took the exam I was passing the simulations with a 90-100% score. I studied for approximately 5 weeks leading up to the exam. I was slightly nervous before I started studying as I have only heard negative things about the exam. I am nearly a decade into practicing and was worried that being this far out from school I would be at a disadvantage. In the end I believe that I in fact had an advantage. This website is extremely expensive but worth it as you only have to take the exam once!

7/10/2019 Thanks to this site, I took my exam and passed on the first try! I scored nearly perfect on the exam! The exam set up was almost identical to what counselingexam uses in their practice scenarios. Using this site, I felt prepared and knew going in that I was ready. I would recommend this site to anyone getting ready for the NCMHCE!! Such an amazing resource!

7/8/2019 I originally started studying with AATBS, which I used for the Law and Ethics exam a couple of years back, but I found the CasePro questions and explanations confusing and inconsistent. Plus the books had a lot of typos, which annoys me considering how much they cost. Two weeks before my exam date, I was panicking a bit about not being adequately prepared or really even knowing what the test was going to be like. I did a search for an additional exam prep guide to supplement it, and came across counselingexam.com. This was a HUGELY fortunate discovery!! I quickly ditched the other study guide and focused my energy and time going through the material and practice sets with this program. It offers information in different formats for different learning and studying styles, has SO many practice sets, and multiple full length exams (which are very similar in style and format to the actual test). I just took the exam this morning and passed it with minimal stress and plenty of time to spare. I’m recommending this program to colleagues!! I

7/6/2019 After nearly two decades in the field, the timing was finally right for me to pursue licensure. This morning, I took and PASSED the NCMHCE with EASE all thanks to counselingexam.com!! Why? Because even with all of my experience in the field, I would NOT have passed this exam without the tips, quizzes, practice exams, simulations, and scenarios this subscription offers. IT IS UNMATCHED ON THE MARKET - HANDS DOWN. I have test anxiety and I literally smiled when I sat in front of the actual examination screen because it was like second nature for me! I studied for about 3 1/2 months and would recommend doing as many simulations and practice tests you can during your subscriptions to be familiar with the format as well as a thorough DSM review of your own or with these materials. My scores on the practice exams were almost identical to my official passing scores (percentages). It such an amazing feeling and experience to be satisfied with a service as it was guaranteed by the company. Oh and the webinars!! Content rich!! Thank you to all the people who have contributed to the development of this material. In this field, sometimes it seems that there are so many barriers to becoming credentialed. However, it is clear that this material was derived from the heart of people who have a love for the field, respect for fellow colleagues, and the desire to further the efforts of the important work we do as mental health professionals. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Now off to saving lives one person at a time!

7/4/2019 I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH. Two days before my exam, I was absolutely freaking out - in spite of having used other books and study materials, I felt like I had absolutely no idea what the test wanted or how on Earth I was going to pass. I bought your two-day subscription, and money has never been better spent. I instantly felt better and calmer after just your introductory videos. The sim mapping model was AMAZINGLY helpful - I used it for every scenario during the exam and it made me feel so organized and level-headed. After just two days with your site, I felt intimately familiar with the exam and, although I was nervous, was completely confident with every answer I submitted. It is absolutely thanks to you that I passed my exam on the first try!! I will recommend this site to everyone I know. Other materials are, frankly, not worth the money - everyone should just use this site!!

7/3/2019 I took the NCMHCE last week, after using this website for a few months. I'm so happy to say that I passed!! The test was not as scary as I thought it would be, primarily because of taking all the practice exams on this site! By the 9th module, I knew I was going to pass, and had to work hard not to jump out of my seat with excitement before finishing the test. Then seeing that PASS on my paper was the best feeling. I still can't believe it! I'm so thankful for this website!!

6/24/2019 I passed the test the first time and I am sure it was because of your site! The practice exams were just as the test...it was almost as if I had been taking the test daily for months. When I finally took the exam it felt comfortable and almost easy because I had taken your practice modules often. I have already recommended it to two other people and will continue to do so without hesitation.
