3/15/2018 10-14-2017 Hey Guys, I just wanted to say that I passed my exam today with an 86%! I took the exam last year without studying and scored 72% which was a fail. I bought the one-month subscription and spent 2 weeks taking the simulated exams and averaged a score of 78-80%. I think the website made a huge difference in how I scored. A major component of this test is understanding the questions and how you lose points for wrong answers. The tutorials were helpful for helping me identify what type of question was being asked. The videos were cheesy but they helped me understand more of what they were asking for. One thing I would tell people, besides to practice the tests and watch the videos is to imagine that it's a perfect world. Every symptom matters and should have an intervention or referral. Real world considerations like time and money don't seem to matter when it comes to making referrals or accommodating clients in crisis. Thanks for such great material. I am so relieved to have past the test!

12/13/2022 Hello! My name is Mason Sikes, Jr. and today, May 3, 2016, Tuesday, I took the exam for LMHC in Florida and I passed it with flying colors. I just wanted to say that the website was useful and informational (actually overwhelmingly informational) but what I learned from most from other peers were their secrets to passing the test. And, more time than not the information that was prevalent and passed between peers was much more synced to the actual exam itself. However, I digress, the website was worth the information, it was pretentiously pricy, and quite frankly needs to refurbished, refabricated. It did proved to be adequate help at testing time. And, I passed the text, so good work. Thanks.

12/13/2022 I just passed the NCMHCE, no doubt, thanks in large part to you. Your manual and the simulations were invaluable. In the interest of those who will follow, I offer some feedback. This may not even be for you, given that I don't know who writes the simulations; do they come from Counseling Exam or do you outsource them? Anyway, it seems that so much of the test is so subjective that one must almost need to read the simulation writer's mind. There are just a couple questions, the logic of which I just could not quite understand, making test preparation much harder. But, I do understand that those matters are subjective. However, on one simulation, when asked to list cognitive-behavioral interventions, among others, I checked operant conditioning and it was marked wrong. That directly contradicts the manual (see pg. 337). This led to a whole lot of head scratching and hair pulling. But, in the end, no harm, no fail. I passed and this glass is far more than half full. Thank you for letting me convey this feedback.

10/4/2016 There are a tremendous number of type-o's and errors on the site. They drove me crazy. I also feel like some of the material is old and with the DSM 5 coming out, am hoping you will update accordingly. I got one question wrong and then the response indicated there were two actual correct answers, the one the test showed as correct AND my answer. My biggest benefit from the sight was the availability of different learning formats that kept me more focused on what I was reading, and I also learned to slow waaaaaay down when test-taking.

5/25/2018 I found this website as good source to gain knowledge. But I felt the biggest drawback is that, it does not give good rationale or emplaination after each answer. The rationale are sometimes missing and incomplete. Their is no way you can re-review the test since it does not save the exams/tests. However the good thing which helped me is the daily content and inspiration which kept me positive. I passed the exam in the 1st try.

6/18/2016 I think the website could be organized better. It's a little difficult to find the information needed such as DSM 5 diagnosis/differential information, etc. I think the best part of the site were the simulations. They really helped me get ready for the test format. I also did the 4 hours tests at the same time that I was taking the test for 3 days before the test so by the time I got to the test my anxiety level was very low and I felt very confident. I was so prepared that I actually thought the test was easy!

3/11/2018 I think the site is good and it might be good to let people know it is helpful for the test in the State of Virginia.

4/23/2017 I am happy to say that the questions and information provided was very helpful and instrumental in passing my exam. However,I would recommend that the explanations on the answers to the questions be more detailed and in lecture format. Quite often I was left wondering why....not enough information. ..

5/11/2016 I think we should be given a discount if we are purchasing more time (i.e. if we paid full price for let say a week and want to extend our time).
